Nike doesn’t need a licensing deal to pay homage to their favorite flicks. We’ve particularly seen that around Halloween as of late, as the Air Force 1 “Jason Voorhees” and a sequel in the Air Force 1 “Scream” have shown over the past few years.

We’re going preppy instead of petrifying for their latest. Much the same way as either of those horror-fueled versions, there’s a certain level of plausible deniability when it comes to the Nike Air Force 1 “Yellow Plaid,” but at the risk of self-reporting on our demo, anyone above a certain age will make the same association as us. Yellow plaid has been synonymous with Cher Horowitz since “Clueless” first hit theaters, exactly where our mind goes with these collegiately coated uppers. Black trim in the usual spots and a white upper let that patterned touch speak for itself as this colorway’s central cue.

This Nike Air Force 1 Low “Yellow Plaid” should be hitting shelves in the coming weeks, commanding the usual $125 MSRP.
