EXCLUSIVE: J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 ‘Rio’ Releasing Summer 2024

The J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 ‘Rio’ will launch Summer 2024, marking his fourth collab with the brand. The artist dropped his first shoe with Jordan Brand in December 2020, known as the ‘Colores Y Vibras’ Air Jordan 1. After selling out, the two were back to release the Air Jordan 2 in 2022, but sadly didn’t receive the same amount of love as its predecessor. For 2023, we will see the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 ‘Medellín Sunset’ debut, which appears to have fans excited.

Dubbed ‘Rio,’ his upcoming pair will be a tribute to his son. Rio was born in June 2021 to the artist and his girlfriend, model Valentina Ferrer. Details on how the shoes will be tied to his son have yet to be unveiled.

Dressed in a Black, Solar Flare, and Total Crimson Abyss color combination. While we have received confirmation on this upcoming Air Jordan 3 by J Balvin, currently, we can’t confirm how the shoes will look. Shown is just a mock-up based on the color scheme and what we have seen on his upcoming AJ 3.

Due to the description, the shoes will come dressed in mostly Black throughout. It’s possible we may see a gradient midsole with translucent heel tabs, and J Balvin’s logo. Since the shoes are dubbed ‘Rio,’ there could be some tributes to his son sprinkled throughout.

J Balvin Air Jordan 3 Rio Release Date

You can expect the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 ‘Rio’ to release at select retailers and Nike.com during Summer 2024. The retail price is $250. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you. For now, check out a mock-up below for an example of what’s to come.
