CLOT and adidas are once again celebrating the upcoming Lunar New Year with footwear inspired by this year’s zodiac animal, this time unveiling a “Year Of The Horse” collection consisting of two models.

First and foremost is a new take on the adidas Superstar Dress, featuring a true cowhide upper with a brown and white horse print. A leather shell toe adds another premium upgrade, accompanied by rope laces, gold tips, and leather tassels. Underfoot comes a leather and rubber combination sole similar to the one introduced on the inaugural Superstar Dress in 2024. All those premium upgrades justify a price tag near $500 USD.

The other half of the collection delivers the CLOT Qi Flow, derived from the ancient Chinese martial art of kung fu. The model features a nylon upper, satin collar, and pearl and frog-button closures. Underfoot is an espadrille-inspired outsole, which we’ve seen time and again on CLOT’s reinterpretations of the Stan Smith and Gazelle.

As with all CLOT x adidas collections, the footwear is only half the story. Multiple jackets and pants will also be available, all treated with detailing that traces back to the “Year Of The Horse” theme.
