Duke + Dexter Heads "Way Out West" for FW23

London-based footwear label Duke + Dexter has presented its latest collection, with the brand heading "Way Out West" to follow in the "iconic footsteps of John Wayne and Clint Eastwood."Recently, D+D has been in its own lane with impressive collaborations and lookbooks. For example, its most recent collaborative collection with Playboy showed the brand is still in touch with its nostalgic side, whilst its co-creation with rising UK artist Soldier Boyfriend stood as a solid example of Duke + Dexter being connected to the new-school wave of London's inner-city creativity.Now, Duke + Dexter is taking things back to basics with a line of designs that lean into a slew of harmonious tones combined with a fresh assortment of prints. As expected, the collection is led by a collection of Duke + Dexter's classic silhouettes, with the Wilde Penny Loafer taking on a melange of earthy tones, with shades of brown laying the foundations for intricate raised stitched detailing on the upper.The Wilde Penny Loafer is then hit with "Croc" detailing, and two all-new silhouettes, the Moby and the Mule, are introduced for the first time. The former is designed with a crimped upper, whilst a rubberized crepe sole sits alongside an Italian leather lining with metal eyelets, round laces, and a pull tab at the heel.Additionally, Duke + Dexter's Mule is designed to combat Britain's unpredictable weather with thick shearling, with a cork footbed leaning into an EVA outsole.
