Deion Sanders Flexes His Nike "PRIMES"

To be at the upper echelon of talent for a sport is an incredible feat. Although, for Deion Sanders, he didn't stop at just one. Playing in both the NFL and MLB, Sanders is widely-regarded as one of the greatest multi-sport athletes of all time. In his time since then, he's quickly established himself as one of the hottest coaches in football, turning around Jackson State University's program before now operating at the helm of the Colorado Buffaloes football team. Already, he's made his mark on the 2023-24 NCAAF season with a major upset over TCU in the season opener. In the wake of his doubt-defying victory, Coach Prime took to Instagram to show off a never-before-seen Nike silhouette. It combines an Air DT Max '96-inspired upper -- a previous signature shoe of his -- with the react-backed sole unit of the Nike Invincible 2 to create a look he refers to as the "PRIMES." Appearing in three colorways, each pair sports the University of Colorado's colors with the first combining white and gold, the second favoring black and gold and the third appearing in all-white.Currently, the Nike "PRIMES" are not slated to hit shelves. However, you can expect Sanders to be rocking these throughout the season and if the Colorado Football hype train continues at this pace, a future release would make sense. View this post on Instagram A post shared by @COACHPRIME (@deionsanders)Stay tuned for updates regarding the new silhouette and for more of the latest and greatest from the footwear space, the Rasheed Wallace-inspired Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Mid is finally dropping this week via SNKRS.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
