Air Max Day 2026: Where to Find Nike’s Biggest Releases

This week is Nike’s annual holiday to celebrate their groundbreaking Air technology; Air Max Day. Each year, the celebration falls on March 26th, and the Swoosh drums up a ton of special releases, including iconic retros and brand new models. With the holiday just days away, here’s a round up of this year’s release lineup.

NIKE AIR MAX LIQUID “POISON DART FROG”

The flagship release for this year’s celebration of Air is a brand new silhouette: the Air Max Liquid. Revealed by Nike just a few weeks ago, the model introduces a new style of Air cushioning in the sole, subtitled Liquid. The new innovation uses a series of Air pods across the bottom of the shoe to provide targeted cushioning where you need it most, leaving negative space in between. The result is a fluid and dynamic ride for maximum comfort in everyday uses. The Air Max Liquid already debuted in collaboration with Fragment this month, and Nike’s first in-line release is a vivid “Poison Dart Frog” color scheme, bright neon greens against a black base to recreate the deadly little amphibians coloring. The shoe is priced at $230, and will be available through the SNKRS app.

The Air Max 95 “Greedy” is all of your favorite colorways of the iconic runner mashed up into one pair of sneakers. The special-edition style originally released back in 2015, as a part of the shoe’s twenty-year anniversary. In 2025, Nike celebrated thirty years of the retro running shoe, updating the model with larger Air bags and tons of new and original color schemes. This re-release of the fan-favorite mashup look adds their new Big Bubble format to the cushioning unit, and recreates the original colorful release in all of its glory. Pairs will release via the SNKRS app for $190. Select retailers are also expected to participate in this drop, though we have yet to see any official postings of this yet.

The “Bandana” colorway of the Air max 95 is an entirely new creation for this year’s Air Max Day celebration. The sneaker had an early launch on March 14th via Sneaker Politic’s store in Austin, Texas, nodding to the cowboy-related paisley print applied to the shoes. This pair will also be available through the SNKRS app, though more secondary retailers have already been confirmed to be releasing stock of this colorful look. We will add a list below of those stores when they start to share release details.

This women’s pair of the AM95 initially released in 2025, but was immensely popular among men and women alike. Nike has restocked the soft pink-tinted look multiple times since its debut in Summer, with another release lined up for March 26th.

With the Air Max 95 completely taking over Air Max Day for the second year running, Nike has to sprinkle in some other silhouettes to break up the monotony. Enter the Air Max 90 in the iconic “Infrared” colorway, but with a fun twist. the shoe’s white leather base layers are covered in a 3M reflective later, resulting in an eye-catching new take on the fan-favorite look. Pairs will be available through SNKRS, though some other retailers have already released their pairs, which are available ahead of the big day.

DIVISION ST. X NIKE AIR MAX 95 “DOAF”

Division St. and Nike are back with another special release for the University of Oregon Ducks. The Ducks of a Feather program (or DOAF), raises NIL funds to help pay student athletes, using all of the proceeds for these special releases to bolster the fund. These collaborations have been released exclusively through the GOAT app for past drops, and this special two-pack maintains that tradition. Given the high-end materials and special patterns, these styles come with a hefty $250 price tag.

PATTA X NIKE AIR MAX 1 WAVES “PLATINUM”

Patta and Nike have revived their Air Max 1 Waves series this season for two special releases. The first pair in the “Hyper Crimson” pack released a few weeks ago exclusively through the Amsterdam-based brand. Now, the second, more subtle “Platinum” grey colorway has been announced as a special Air Max Day release. Pairs will once again be available exclusively through Patta’s channels, with no US SNKRS release in site.
