The 9060 is one of New Balance’s hottest new silhouette they’ve introduced in recent years, mixing their retro styling with modern sneaker sensibilities. The upper bears a striking resemblance to some of their more iconic models, particularly the 990 series, while the midsole is entirely new, featuring bulbous, chunky portions and sleek lines. This week brings us another early look at a fresh colorway for the silhouette, dressed in ‘Washed Burgundy’ tones for Fall. The muted red shade covers the mesh and suede layers of the upper, adding medium grey mid layers in between. The medial side mesh is added in cream, matching the shoe’s laces, tongues, and inner ‘N’ logos.
