Jordan Brand will debut some classic colorways of the Air Jordan 5 in 2026. Although not an original pair, the “White Metallic” Air Jordan 5 will return to retailers. We had seen this pair debut twice before. However, for 2026, the brand will replace the Jumpman with Nike Air.
The 2026 release marks the third time that this colorway will debut. The first launch occurred in 2000. In 2006, a similar pair debuted, but in low-top form. However, it was a women’s exclusive and lacked the 23 on the side. We would see Jordan Brand bring back the popular colorway again, but this time in 2015. Both the 2000 and 2015 iterations came with a Jumpman on the heels.
This Air Jordan 5 is dressed in a White, Metallic Silver, and Black color combination. Like the previous pairs, the 2026 iteration will feature White leather on the upper and translucent mesh on the panels and tongue. Additionally, the pair will come with a reflective Silver tongue, a Black Jumpman, and Silver flames on the White midsole. As for what’s different, this rendition will have the updated 23 font on the sides, reminiscent of the 1990 look, and instead of a Jumpman, the brand will use Nike Air. The design is completed with an icy Blue translucent rubber outsole.
