The Air Jordan 5 “Black Cat” is a new release dressed in Anthracite, Black, and Off Noir. Furthering the “Black Cat” series, the Jordan 5 will release Holiday 2024 at Jordan Brand retailers. With a release date of December 7, 2024, it will retail for $210. Furthermore, the shoes will be available in full family sizes.

Jordan Brand typically has a solid rotation of Air Jordan 5 color options each year, and 2024 will follow the yearly trend. The Brand will dress a few pairs in all-Black for the Holiday season, giving them the “Black Cat” nickname. One of the pairs dropping is the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 3, a classic originally launched in 2007. Changing things up, we have a new pair introduced to the series, the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 5.

As mentioned, we have a handful of Air Jordan 5 releases in 2024. Returning from 2006 is the “Olive” rendition, and the rest of the pairs launching are new color options. This includes the “Lucky Green,” “El Grito,” “White Black,” “Archaeo Brown,” and “Sail.” Fans of the silhouette will have to wait a bit longer for an original pair to return.

This Air Jordan 5 comes dressed in an Anthracite, Black, and Off-Noir color combination. At the time of writing, we have yet to confirm the color blocking. However, we created the mock-up to represent what the “Black Cat” iteration could look like. Typically, with SE releases, the shoes will feature different materials, but we have them dressed in a nubuck takeover. While not confirmed, the shoes could feature all-Black across the upper with Anthracite and Off Noir details. Furthermore, the panels and tongue netting will have a translucent tint. Lastly, the same treatment, a translucent outsole, completes the design.

Air Jordan 5 Black Cat Release Date

You can expect the Air Jordan 5 “Black Cat” to be released at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com on December 7th, 2024. The retail price is $210 for men, $160 for grade school, $100 for preschool, and $85 for toddler sizes. Once we have more information, we will update you.
