Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Somos Historias” Design

Brown leads the upper. Chocolate nubuck covers the toe, lower eyestays and heel, and the panels carry a spotted texture. Shaggy suede sits on the upper eyestays and heel, and textured leather overlays add more surface contrast. A woven Swoosh with a debossed quarter panel anchors the side, and a mini Swoosh sits on the vamp. Teal runs through the trim, including the Swoosh edge and the Nike Air logo on the tongue, and shows up again on a translucent outsole. Reports differ on the midsole color, so it is left out here.

Inside the tongue, a teal Jumpman sits within a Xolo graphic, and a tag numbers each pair out of 5,026 (one report lists 5,036). The box uses a weathered concrete print with an oversized Wings logo. A message on the inside of the lid speaks to family, companionship and the Xolo as a guide through life and death.

What Does “Somos Historias” Mean?

The Spanish phrase translates to “We Are Stories” or “We Are Histories.” It points to the idea that every person’s story is part of their family’s and society’s shared history.
