Air Jordan 1 High 85 “Metallic Burgundy” Returns February 16th

The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Metallic Pack” is one of the most overlooked set of releases that were part of the original lineup of Peter Moore’s iconic design back in 1985. One of the pairs that were included in the pack was the “Metallic Burgundy” colorway. 38 years later, the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Metallic Burgundy” will be returning in 2024.

This will mark as the first time the “Metallic Burgundy” Air Jordan 1 sees a retro release. Unlike the OG “Metallic Red” pair, these come with a slightly darker Red color tone. For the 2024 release, the shoe will return in OG form.

Dressed in a White and Team Red color scheme. While no leaked photos have surfaced, this offering of the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 is expected to feature a White leather base with Metallic Burgundy (Team Red) accents on the Swoosh logos, collar, and Wings. Burgundy “Nike Air” branding on the tongues atop a White midsole and Burgundy rubber outsole completes the design.

Air Jordan 1 High 85 Metallic Burgundy 2024 Release Date

Look for the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Metallic Burgundy” to release on February 16th at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $200 USD.

UPDATE 6/21: Originally expected to be the “Metallic Red” pair, it has been confirmed that the “Metallic Burgundy” Air Jordan 1 High will be returning in 2024 per Sneaker Files and zsneakerheadz. The color used is “Team Red,” which is a closer to the “Burgundy” pair compared to the “Metallic Red” release. Expect a launch February 16th for $200 USD.
