adidas Samba x Mercedes Benz Design
Grained leather covers the uppers, a finish that echoes the leather used inside Mercedes cabins. A small metal Mercedes Benz plate sits beside the Three Stripes, in the spot where the Samba name normally appears.
The tongue carries a silver hood ornament, and exposed stitching around the heel adds contrast to an otherwise simple build. All three versions share these details.
Is the Mercedes Benz Samba Tied to the Mercedes F1 Team?
The release follows adidas becoming the official footwear partner of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 team. The design details come from Mercedes road cars rather than the racetrack.
