Yuto and Nike SB Have a “Laser” Edition Air Force 1 in the Works

The upcoming collaboration from Nike SB team rider Yuto Horigome featuring the Air Force 1 is one of my most anticipated drops of the Fall. Now, they’re sweetening the deal with a new “Laser” edition pair, landing sometime in 2027.

Nike SB team rider Yuto Horigome has dropped some of the best skater-edition signatures of the last few years. The run started with his first SB Dunk Low back in 2023, a gorgeous white and grey combo with brown, green, and pink accents. He followed up in 2025 with another Dunk release, a “Matcha” green pair set against a Sesame tan backdrop. This year we’ve been patiently tracking his upcoming Air Force 1 drop, a smooth white and grey pair with red accents that takes inspiration from an original 1980s AF1 colorway. Now, a second pair of the low-top model has emerged with Yuto’s branding.

The second colorway of Horigome’s take on the SB Air Force 1 brings some special details to the modified skate shoe. First, the look is cast primarily in white tones, including plain white mesh underlays and a cream shade for the leather overlays around the toes, heels, and eyestay. Striking red shades are added to the Swooshes, outsoles, and tongue branding for a splash of color. The leather pieces bear laser-etched graphics, added to the mudguards and heel panels. Yuto’s logo is engraved, while small floral details and wind-like lines channel the peacefulness of nature.

The latest pair of Yuto Horigome’s Air Force 1 for Nike SB has not been announced yet, and isn’t anticipated to release until sometime in 2027. This special-edition pair will feature laser-etched graphics across the shoe’s leather layers, and is rumored to be limited to only 1,000 pairs or less should they release to the public next year. The look comes in shades of white with bold red accents, and will be available through the SNKRS app and local skate shops for $125.
