Earlier this season, Westside Gunn teased his new team-up with Saucony, working to bring his aesthetic to the brand’s retro running shoes. This week, we have our first look at one of their samples, featuring a glow-in-the-dark ProGrid Triumph 4.

Saucony has been on a hot streak of collaborative releases over the last year. From their team-ups with regional retailers like Starcow to performance brands like Minted, and now musicians like Jae Tips and Westside Gunn. The latter announced his work with the iconic running brand earlier this season, and now, has given us an early look at what to expect from his first sneaker collaboration in 2025.

The first releases from Westside Gunn and Saucony are set to release next Spring, bringing us unique takes on the ProGrid Omni 9 and the ProGrid Triumph 4. After sharing the spec sheets for both shoes, Gunn has now shared a look at the Triumph 4 sample, which sports a colorful look for the older running model. The shoe features a neon green mesh base, which is also entirely glow-in-the-dark. Its synthetic overlays are added in bright yellow, orange, blue and silver, while a few black accents help ground the color palette.

The first project from Westside Gunn and Saucony does not have a release date yet, but is expected to release sometime in Spring 2025. The ProGrid Triumph 4 from the collaboration, in a bright and glow-in-the-dark color scheme will likely be available from both Saucony and select retailers, though no price is available yet.

UPDATE 10/27/25: It has been nearly a year since we first saw Gunn’s debut Saucony release. This week, new, close-up images of Westside Gunn’s GITD Progrid Triumph 4 are here, after the shoe was showcased at ComplexCon this weekend. Still no official release date yet, but Gunn did reportedly state that they were looking at the Holiday 2025 window for the debut.
