As hardcore watchers of the signature shoe space, the upcoming NBA season is of great interest for us when it comes to Beaverton. Beyond the usual yearly iterations of longer-standing lines, our eyes are trained towards three specific shoes; the Nike Cade 1, the Nike SHAI 001, the first for the MVP after jumping away from Converse, and the Nike Wemby 1. Even as we imagine what the first formal footwear for the Frenchman will look like, his partial ownership of the Nike GT Cut 4 now allows for a Wemby Halloween shoe to enter the fray.
In his ascension to one of the league’s best players, Wemby’s association with tentpole inline product of the moment has already birthed his own Halloween kicks; the GT Hustle 3 suited up in pumpkin style in 2025. For this follow-up, things are only more specified to the Defensive Player of the Year, taking after his “Alien” moniker with a comprehensive viridescent colorway. The “Little Green Man” inspo continues into his logo on the rear and abstract extraterrestrial prints throughout. Finally, as all of the Nike Halloween 2026 drops have so far, an eerie visage of Vic himself sneaks into the closing details, including with a wearable mask included alongside each pair.
The Nike GT Cut 4 “Wemby Halloween” is expected to drop as part of the latter half of the Swoosh’s holiday effort; meaning it’s coming after October 23rd. We’ll have a firm date included here and on our Sneaker Release Dates page as soon as we hear of it.
