China-based retailer Soulgoods is preparing to add another chapter to its growing partnership with Nike. Following previous collaborations on the Nike Dunk High and Jordan Air Ship, the sneaker boutique is now turning its attention to a lesser-known cult favorite while adding an interesting twist.

At its core, the model remains rooted in the DNA of the iconic Footscape. The asymmetrical lacing system returns intact, joined by the woven panel that was later introduced in the mid-2000s. Together, the two design elements preserve the unconventional look that has made the Footscape a favorite among collectors since its debut in the mid-1990s.

Rather than utilizing the standard Footscape tooling, the Homescape Woven adopts the rugged outsole of Nike’s Special Field Boot, transforming the traditionally lifestyle-focused silhouette into something more capable that hitting the streets and into the realm of outdoor exploration.

The “Blue Beyond” colorway is one of at least two versions expected to release as part of the collaboration. The “Medium Orewood Brown” edition is expected to serve as the primary U.S. release, while this “Blue Beyond” colorway seen here is currently believed to be reserved for overseas markets. The regional approach mirrors Soulgoods’ intent to grow abroad, particularly as the retailer continues to expand its presence on the global stage.

While official release details remain under wraps, Soulgoods is scheduled to host a pop-up activation in Paris during Men’s Fashion Week beginning June 22nd, so additional information surrounding the collection could arrive sooner rather than later. For now, the Soulgoods x Nike Homescape stands as one of the more intriguing reinterpretations of the Footscape silhouette in recent memory, so stay tuned because we might have a sleeper on our hands.
