adidas has been breaking all the rules with its soccer-lifestyle output as of late, debuting a slew of experimental hybrid designs that sit at the intersection of football, lifestyle, and multiple eras of running. That sort of rule-breaking spirit is one Bad Bunny knows well, the Puerto Rican superstar having built a world around his gender-nonconforming style and vast, far-reaching creative portfolio. Now those worlds are set to collide on his next adidas release: a trio of Bad Bunny x adidas F50 Ghost Sprint colorways for July 2026.

The adidas F50 line debuted in 2004 and rose to prominence in no small part through Lionel Messi, who made the boot line his own after joining the Three Stripes a few years later. Bad Bunny’s F50 Ghost Sprint borrows the spiderweb-like TPU detailing seen on early F50 models, though it forgoes the fold-over tongue in favor of a more traditional lacing setup.

The other half of the equation comes from the adidas Ghost Sprint, a track shoe from that same era that has since been resurrected for modern lifestyle wear. Some, including yours truly, would argue it remains underrated within today’s slim-soled Samba-adjacent landscape, partly because release have been few and far between since adidas pulled it back from the archive. Of course, attaching Bad Bunny’s name to anything can change that in a heartbeat. The Ghost Sprint here lends its shape and outsole, though it’s practically unrecognizable under the all-new F50-inspired upper.

Three Bad Bunny x adidas F50 Ghost Sprint colorways are set to release July 18th, including the purple and blue gradient pair shown below. Retail is set at $160 per. Stay tuned for updates as we keep our ears up for more info.
