The stars were out for NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, and none shined brighter than Anthony Edwards. The 24-year-old, three-time All-Star took home the Kobe Bryant All-Star Game MVP award for the Team USA Stars, pouring in 32 points across 26 minutes in three exhibition games, including a handful of clutch shots.

Off the court, Ant was just as much of a talking point. Edwards headlined one of the biggest adidas drops of NBA All-Star Weekend, a collaborative Hellstar adidas AE2 that released exclusively at the Foot Locker Takeover to a crowd of eager buyers. However, it wasn’t the desert camo colorway he wore during the round-robin, but rather a never-before-seen “Black/Silver” alternative.

Shown below is the same style Ant laced up for the Team USA Stars, outfitted with black mesh side panels featuring a dark grey camo print. Most of the attention goes to the TPU frame, finished in chrome paint so glossy you could spot it on TV. Red Hellstar branding appears around the collar, complemented by additional red hits on the tongue logos and lace tips. Underfoot, glossy black accents sit alongside an icy blue outsole, likely featuring Hellstar graphics similar to the desert camo edition.

It remains to be seen whether the Hellstar x adidas AE2 “Black/Silver” will release or remain a player exclusive. We’ll circle back with updates as they surface.
