With a run of Vaporposite colorways, Nike has shown the strength of their sponsored college roster once again, handing down game-ready exclusives to some of the CFB world’s blue blood universities. Until college basketball season kicks off, we likely won’t get a corresponding initiative from Jordan Brand, but that doesn’t mean they can’t pay homage to a sentimentally valuable institution.

Even as schools from Michigan to Marquette enjoy the fruits of being a Jumpman school, UNC will always have a special place in the heart of His Airness. His roots and his later-stage sporting love first collided with an exclusive Air Jordan 9 and associated swag, handed to the University of North Carolina golf team in 2024. Some two years later, the squad is showcasing their latest delivery. Two colorways of the Spizike Low and one of the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf join the Jordan Grind Golf, the company’s latest standalone golf silhouette. Perhaps more exclusive are the golf bags and apparel, sure to be used through the team’s circuit this season.
