The “FC” line of adidas SPZL sneakers exists to give fans of football clubs not covered by adidas’ huge catalog of team-inspired pairs options that suit the terrace well, offering up agreeable, neutral takes on the sub-brand’s many reworked archive icons.

Now taking center stage is an adidas Gazelle SPZL FC in a clean black and white makeup, built on a black suede foundation, white leather on the stripes and backtab, and textured finishes on the tongue and sidewalls. The Gazelle SPZL debuted as part of Gary Aspden’s Fall/Winter 2023 range and returned in two additional colorways for Spring/Summer 2024, but it’s been absent from the SPZL catalog since. It’s shorter and slimmer than the adidas Gazelle proper, not to mention far more limited.
