The potential for 2025’s finalists to reload with top-of-the-draft talent is still alive and well, and the timing might be just right. The team overall has become embroiled in the middle of a leaguewide tanking controversy, yet even as further penalties for the practice are weighed, save for making Herb Simon’s pockets a bit lighter, the ‘Cers might just escape with a foundational player and no major consequences.
