The Nike Mind series is walking proof, positioned by the Swoosh as an exploration of new frontiers: the mind-body connection and the psyche of the athlete.

22 individually articulating synthetic nodes in the outsole are tooled to activate the sensory zones of the brain, an effect aimed at grounding the wearer and allowing a rapid-fire stream of consciousness to slow just a bit. While naturally this new platform dovetails nicely into the recovery slide space, the Nike Mind 002 serves as its utilization in an all-day vein, further extending into go-with-everything colorways that have defined the model to date. The “Light Khaki” at hand fits perfectly within that, only breaking its comprehensive palette for the orange bulbs beneath.

The Nike Mind 001 and Mind 002 both release on January 6th, though it’s currently unclear whether this “Light Khaki” colorway will be part of that debut set.
