Following an array of flashy and inspired colorways to get the Nike Caitlin 1 era off to a hot start, Caitlin Clark’s first signature model is striding into the WNBA offseason with a more lowkey option for the silent killer types.
The titular “Cave Stone” color, shared notably with an Air Jordan 4 from last year, plays more of a supporting role than anything, landing on the medial Swoosh and the layered “CC” ripples on the lateral side that stand in for Clark’s initials. The rest of the sneaker, including the midsole, tongue, and scattered “C” and “2” silicone accents that wrap the sides, appears in Light Orewood Brown. We’re reminded of pairs like the Kobe 6 Protro “All-Star” and Ja 3 “Sail,” clean and versatile colorways that avoid the “boring” camp thanks to their elaborate upper detailing. Pretty nice.
