The Nike Baltoro Boot Returns in Retro-Inspired Colors After it’s Stussy Debut

Nike has revived another archival silhouette this season, just in time for Fall ‘fits. The Baltoro boot returned through a Stussy collab this week, and has now surfaced in its first assortment of in-line colorways, coming soon.

The Nike Baltoro first appeared in 1990 as part of Nike’s outdoor / All Conditions Gear lineup. It was built rugged—high-cut, leather + mesh, reinforced overlays, thick tread—made for trail, mountain, or weather-challenging terrain. After fading from regular production, it had a brief flashback run in 2005 with loud, wild colorways. Fast forward to 2025, Nike teamed with streetwear icon Stüssy to bring the Baltoro back. The new version lowers the ankle cut, refines the shape for everyday wear, and colors it in several earth toned styles. Stüssy’s styling leans both functional and fashion-minded, preserving the original boot’s rugged DNA while making it much more wearable in urban settings.

For their first batch in-house Baltoro colorways, Nike has dug into their archives to bring us some ’90s inspired outdoor palettes. Three styles will be available initially, dressing the shoe in a range of hues from light to dark. First up is the “Bright Spruce” pair, which features a predominantly Spruce green upper. This is paired with a Fruit Punch red underlay, purple tertiary tones, and a gold accent. The second style takes on their fan-favorite Baroque Brown shade, pairing it with Midnight Navy and Midnight Green tones. Finally, a triple black pair rounds out the collection, adding metallic gold lace loops for a small accent.
