While keeping purists happy with a plethora of “Neon” adjacent releases, Nike has also done a fine job bringing the Air Max 95 into elevated territory through its Big Bubble run. That’s not entirely new ground for the model, as anyone who remembers the Air Max 95 Lux can attest, but it’s an increasingly important box to check as consumer tastes continue to evolve.
Here we have one such pair, the Sergio Lozano icon arriving in a monochrome “Enigma Stone” women’s colorway that places all emphasis on a key material swap. The topmost side panels are cut from leather with a debossed croc pattern, calling to mind loafers and other formal footwear. The bottom two overlays turn to hairy suede, while standard leather and mesh round out the rest of the upper.
