Before models like the ASICS GEL-1130 and adidas Samba became go-to everyday sneakers, that distinction belonged in part to the Nike Air Max 90, a fixture of streetwear fits, frat houses, and suburban PTA meetings alike. And for those undeterred by the rise of 2000s and 2010s runners, it’s never really wavered. If you fall into that camp, this upcoming “Cool Grey” colorway looks more than capable of handling your everyday rotation.
Official images reveal a monochromatic greyscale build, with the titular Cool Grey taking center stage on leather quarter panels. Textured silver mesh sits underneath, while Light Army accents the tongue, mudguard window, and heel branding, the latter swapping out the usual TPU construction for a leather patch. The Swoosh, midsole, and eyestays all appear in black, as does the mudguard, which gets an extra layer of piping along the top for some extra definition.
The Nike Air Max 90 “Cool Grey” releases Fall/Winter 2026 for $145 in men’s sizes. Check out official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming pairs.
