The New Balance 2000 is following a well-worn path, following up its rollout phase with an experimental spinoff. The New Balance 2000 Sleek pairs the chunky ABZORB cushioning of its namesake with an all-new streamlined upper, seen here via official images for the first time ever.
First previewed by Quadro Creations a couple months back, the 2000 Sleek introduces a new upper consisting of mesh up top and a wrap-around leather panel below. We’re particularly intrigued by the texture, with every colorway previewed thus far featuring scattered moonrock-esque detailing on the lower panel. Small “N” logos sit on the lateral side of the forefoot, while thin splices of reflective material (?) divide the two main upper sections.
The New Balance 2000 Sleek is expected to debut Fall 2026, meaning sometime between July and September. Grey and black colorways have surfaced so far, with a neon yellow pair also spotted in the brand’s FW26 preview. See official images below and stay tuned for updates.
