We’re looking outside at damn near a foot of snow in our corner of the world, but sneaker companies are already getting their ducks in a row for springtime. For New Balance’s part, the brand has begun surfacing a number of New Balance 1000 styles that ring as solid options for when the weather starts to thaw, including a “Linen” suede build and multiple colorful mesh looks, one being this “Sport Blue” colorway featuring silver accents.
Unveiled via retailer images alongside a tropical teal pair, the 1999-born retro runner here suits into open honeycomb-shaped mesh for breathability – something the model doesn’t typically boast as a strong suit. The joined mudguard and toe paneling are both cut from “Sport Blue” leather, while a darker navy shade appears on the heel, tongue, N logos, and extra Achilles cushioning.
The New Balance 1000 “Sport Blue” is expected to release Spring 2026 for $150 USD in unisex sizing. See official retailer images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming pairs.
