The Broken Arm and Salomon, two French brands, have formed a strong creation partnership over the last decade. This month, the two will introduce a brand-new silhouette, the Savát, coming soon.

Paris boutique The Broken Arm holds a special place in sneaker history, as one of the first few stops for Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” project with Nike back in 2017. Prior to that, the store opened its doors in 2012, quickly becoming known as one of the most discerning stores in fashion. In 2015, they released their initial collaboration with Salomon, breaking through into the world of sneaker collaborations. Over the past decade then, the two have teamed up nearly every year for a special release, with Salomon giving TBA a ton of creative freedom for their special releases.

This week, The Broken Arm and Salomon have introduced one of their most ambitious projects yet, a brand new silhouette. The Savát is a simple sneaker inspired by humble peasant shoes, featuring minimal materials and fewer components than your typical Salomon shoe. The upper is constructed from a single piece of suede with minimal stitching, and uses a tongueless design to appeal to a more rustic footwear design. Pairs feature a rubberized toe cap for outdoor exploration, a thick sole unit with heavy duty lugs for extra grip. Both colors also add a contrasting embroidery stitch across the wall of the shoes. The first pair is cast in a Dark Olive green suede, while the second comes in a soft Cosmic Sky purple tone.

THE BROKEN ARM X SALOMON SAVAT RELEASE INFORMATION

The next project from Parisian retailer The Broken Arm and Salomon has been scheduled to release early next week, on June 16th, 2026. The project is their most ambitious yet, designing an all-new silhouette for casual outdoor wear. The Savát will come in two colorways, dark olive and cosmic sky, both of which will be available from both partners for $170 each.
