Nike’s Air Max 1 releases have been plentiful so far this year, with a range of new colors still on the horizon. This week, we got an early look at a new ‘Wheat’ style, coming in Spring 2024.

New Air Max 1 colorways have been popping up all week, giving us an early look at what to expect from Nike in the coming months. So far, most of these pairs like the ‘Dusty Cactus‘ color are expected to release in Spring 2024, though given their appearance in retailer’s photos, we could see them launch before the end of the year. Today, a new ‘Wheat’ color scheme has joined the upcoming slate, giving the retro runner an iconic makeover. The look begins with a white mesh base, adding light ‘Flax’ brown shades to the shoe’s midfoot panelling, while the ‘Wheat’ color is applied to the mudguards and heels. Finally, a single olive hit appears on the upper eyelets to break up the near-monotone brown design.

NIKE AIR MAX 1 ‘WHEAT’ RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s new ‘Wheat’ colorway of the legendary Air Max 1 is not expected to arrive until sometime in Spring 2024, though we could see an earlier release if pairs are already arriving at retailers. Dressed in a mix of white and light brown, the new style will be available from both the SNKRS app and select retailers for the usual $150.
