adidas Terra Mono Lightstrike Launches Next Week

adidas’ Originals team is still putting out excellent sneakers, despite a recent focus on classics and performance running. Next week, the team will drop their new Terra Mono Lightstrike, a wearable sculpture for everyday outings.

The Three Stripes are having a great year more than halfway into 2026. Their collaborative efforts are firing on all cylinders, with a range of projects on the way soon from top collaborators like Menace, Pharrell, Hartcopy, and Bad Bunny. While collaborations are the name of the game in sneaker culture right now, their in-line teams are still hard at work in the background creating excellent new silhouettes. This week, a member of their Los Angeles-based design team, Federico Maccapani, teased new work for the stripes, a brand new model called Terra Mono Lightstrike.

The Terra Mono is adidas’ latest entry in a line of new silhouettes inspired by their history of running shoes. The model has sleek stance, sporty enough to wear in the gym but casual enough for every day missions. Terra Mono’s upper uses a molded overlay, similar to Pharrell’s Jellyfish, to achieve a single-piece style for the overlay while making details like the three stripes stand out. Combined with the Lightstrike Pro tooling underfoot, the silhouette looks like it was carved out of marble by one of the Italian rennaissance masters.

ADIDAS TERRA MONO LIGHTSTRIKE RELEASE INFORMATION

adidas’ latest new silhouette, the terra Mono Lightstrike, is scheduled to debut next week on July 15th, 2026. The model has already appeared on some release calendars overseas, like BSTN’s, while a stateside drop has yet to be announced. The silhouette combines running DNA with everyday style, and packs a full Lightstrike Pro cushioned sole underneath. Pairs will be available for a price tag of approximately $180.
