Sneaker Politics has grown from just one Louisiana storefront into a Southern empire, now boasting half a dozen locations in both LA and now, TX. Beyond their brick-and-mortar expansion, they’ve kept their Southern roots at the heart of their efforts as a collaborator; the adidas Handball Spezial that paid homage to Buddy Guy, the Saucony Progrid Omni 9 tailored after marshlands and bayous, the ASICS GEL-K1011 crafted to resemble Baton Rouge’s Live Oaks.

For their first-ever collaboration with Timberland, Sneaker Politics is going even wider and even more classic. Two versions of the Timberland 6-Inch Boot are on display here, nicknamed the “Outlaw” and the “Rodeo.” For the former, a murdered-out profile reveals pebbled leather foundations, croc textures on the collar, and Western stitching on the side panel and the toe. Flip to its brighter counterpart for cowprint patterning at the rear, an expressive match for the deep brown that takes up much of the real estate besides it.

The Sneaker Politics x Timberland capsule drops on September 24th via Sneaker Politics’ webstore and their in-store locations. A wider launch via Timberland channels follows on September 25th. A $225 retail price is consistent across both.
