It’s the battle of the retailers at NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. On top of the jam-packed Foot Locker Takeover, competing chain Shoe Palace has announced a stacked spread of activations of its own.
The retailer’s largest All-Star effort to date includes 21 sneaker releases spread across six L.A. locations, brought to life in partnership with adidas, Jordan, Nike, Puma, and New Balance. Tapping into music, fashion and the broader LA lifestyle, the weekend transforms storefronts in Little Tokyo, Melrose, Inglewood, Hollywood, Compton, Fairfax, and DTLA into immersive brand hubs.
The sneaker spread is nothing short of amazing, headlined by the Stranger Things Foams, Victor Solomon x Nike collection, Willy Chavarria x adidas Harden Vol. 10, and Kobe 6 Protro “All-Star 3D” just to name a few standouts. We’re also getting the $1,005 Swarovski x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Vast Grey” and Jordan 6 “Bin 23,” each of which have their own separate announcements (embedded above).
