SGA’s Converse era will soon be in the rear-view as the two-time NBA MVP prepares to make the move to Nike Basketball for his next signature model, but for anyone still invested in the SHAI 001, the good news is he isn’t finished quite yet.

The latest SGA drop delivers more than footwear, though of course the shoes are part of the equation. Converse has announced a full apparel range spearheaded by Shai himself, translating his easygoing signature style through the hands of the most fashionable name in the NBA right now.

First, the sweats. The SHAI Fleece Hoodie, Fleece Pant, and Boxy Crew are cut from heavyweight Legacy French Terry that tips the scales at over 500 GSM, cropped where it counts to suit Shai’s taste. For outdoor pickup runs once the weather turns, there’s the SHAI Warm Up Jacket and Warm Up Pant, which pull design cues from Shai’s custom Canada tracksuit and dial them back into agreeable neutrals.

Rounding out the apparel are the tees. The SHAI Waffle Long-Sleeve Tee in a 60% cotton, 40% polyester waffle knit, and the SHAI Short-Sleeve Tee in 100% cotton rugby-jersey fabric with that same boxy, slightly cropped cut.

Now, the sneakers. The Converse SHAI 001 winds down with a set of two-tone colorways dubbed “Shock” and “Spark.” Both sit on synthetic nubuck uppers, the “Shock” arriving in black with a green tongue while the “Spark” leans on a grey and yellow blend.
