Reebok’s ‘Red Stepover’ Answer IV Releases December 8th

Allen Iverson’s iconic Reebok Answer IV is back with a fresh look next week. Inspired by the black & white pair he wore during the iconic stepover moment with Tyronn Lue during the 2001 Finals, the ‘Red Stepover’ drops next week.

Allen Iverson’s signature footwear with Reebok still releases in new colors and themes regularly, despite the athlete hanging his shoes up after the 2010 NBA season. One of the most iconic sneakers from his time at Reebok is the ‘Stepover’ Answer IV, worn by Iverson during the 2001 Finals game where he stepped over Tyronn Lue after knocking down a fadeaway jumper. The moment is famous in NBA history, and so are the black and white sneakers AI wore during the game. Now, Reebok is giving that color blocking a new spin, for next week’s release of the ‘Red Stepover’ look. Featuring the same black bottom half of the silhouette, the upper portions of the shoe’s leather upper are cast in a deep red shade, right down to the inner lining and zippers.
