As we noted when the two reunited in 2025, PUMA and Jil Sander were in many ways ahead of their time, blurring the lines between high fashion and sportstyle in a way that’s become commonplace in the modern landscape. Though their partnership cooled off in the middle of the 2000s, they’ve picked up right where they left off in the time since, now coming together for a wholly new design with the PUMA Jil Sander K-Street.

Though you’ll find that the K-Street moniker actually already speaks to an archival running shoe from the Big Cat, what Jil Sander foregrounds here is a merger between the H-Street and the Karate, a canvas for the two partners’ work around the turn of the century. The simplistic, layered panels from the former collide with a sole unit that’s about as low-pro as it can get, utilizing thin pads just under the foot bed and heel.

The blue and navy colorway most closely approaches the sport looks of the aughts, while a beige leather and brown suede offer modernized, gussied-up takes on the trainer. All told, you can easily trace the design team’s proclivities into how this shoe presents in full, with creative director Simone Bellotti sharing: “I like footwear that is streamlined, with the thinnest of soles, embracing the foot with a natural line.”

The JIL SANDER x PUMA collection releases on April 8th via JIL SANDER channels and retail partners, going wide in the tan and brown and exclusive to the imprint in the blue colorway.
