The adidas Jellyfish from Pharrell Williams took over in 2025 as one of the main Sneaker of the Year contenders. Releases have been few & far between, but Chief Keef has teased a potential upcoming drop in a brown & green color scheme.
After an extensive few months of leaks and teases, Pharrell Williams’ new signature sneaker with adidas, the Jellyfish, arrived at the end of Summer in 2025. The model had first appeared on Skateboard P’s feet very early in the year, with more and more teases building up to the shoe’s eventual launch. Initially thought to be a rework of the Adistar Cushion 5, the unveiling of the XLG 2.0 model connected the seemingly disparate dots of our first guesses. Since it’s launch, the Jellyfish has been scarce, with only a handful of styles actually releasing to the public at large since August. New colors like the tan “Oatmeal” look are expected sometime this year, and today Chief Keef has added another to the list of pairs to look out for.
Taking to his Instagram story, Sosa shared an in-hand photo of a new color scheme over the hood of a car, captioned with a brag about his special access to sneakers. Must be nice! The look pits the Jellyfish in a dark chocolate brown shade for the shoe’s mesh base layer, with its molded plastic overlays in shades of cream, white, and a neon green hue. Black stripes and brown midsoles complete the look.
The latest pair of the Pharrell Williams x adidas Jellyfish to emerge was not accompanied by any details regarding a release. The pair is currently only in the hands of Chief Keef, meaning this could be another friends & family edition, or Sosa is just giving us an early look at a drop coming down the line. Either way, we will continue to update this story when more details come to light.
