adidas and Pharrell are still working in the performance space this season. The two have announced another release of the Humanrace EVO SL running shoe, this time in a rich brown “Mars” themed colorway.

Pharrell’s tenure with adidas continues to churn out excellent iterations of a wide range of Three Stripes sneakers. The partnership was first announced in Spring 2014, and debuted with the “Solid” pack that Fall, dressing the Stan Smith in tonal red, blue, and black styles, each accompanied by a track jacket. They struck gold in 2016 with their first release of the Humanrace NMD_R1, a heavily modified version of the popular lifestyle shoe, following up with over a dozen more colorways of the model. Fast forward to 2026, and the two are still going strong, and have recently narrowed their focus on performance runners, particularly the EVO SL.

The first release of the Humanrace EVO SL landed in September, dressing the running shoe in black and white styles, each bearing striped in green, blue, and brown. This week, the Humanrace edition runner returns with a new look that takes the project on a trip to Mars. This pair comes in a Preloved Brown for the entire base of the shoe, down to the full-length Lightstrike Pro foam midsole. Orange accents appear on the heels and outsoles to match our perception of Mars’ coloring, with black oversized stripes running across each side of the shoe.

PHARRELL X ADIDAS EVO SL HUMANRACE “MARS” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest edition of Pharrell’s Humanrace adidas EVO SL has been scheduled to release this week, on March 21st, 2026. The new look colors the performance runner in an earthy brown tone with an orange accent for the “Mars” theme, and will release accompanied by a matching track jacket and shorts. Sign-ups are already open via the Confirmed app, and pairs will cost $160.
