The Nike Dunk Low has officially joined the "Athletic Department" pack. Coming later this year, the collection recruits the low-top Dunk, which pays homage to college sports and the vintage aesthetic surrounding varsity culture. Arriving in a University Blue color scheme featuring a blend that also includes sail, light iron ore, light smoke grey, coconut milk and metallic gold alongside the blue hue, the shoe is also constructed with the typical premium all-leather build. The shoe also includes mesh tongues and linings, while the base is dressed in a clean, white leather and canvas is used for the grey overlays. Contrasting university blue accents adorn the Swooshes, also highlighting the inner lining, insoles, heels, tongue branding and rubber outsoles. The rear "NIKE" embroidery is in gold, as is the "Athletic Department" moniker on the insoles. The shoe sits atop an aged midsole and university blue outsole to round out the design.
