Is the Air Jordan 4 slowly overtaking the Air Jordan 1 as the most popular Air Jordan Retro on the market? Loyalists of the ’85 original might scoff at that notion, but the 1989 model hasn’t seen garbage time on the store shelves yet — and this upcoming “Cacao Wow/Geode Teal” pair for kids is top-level starter quality.

Clearly aiming for an outdoors/hiking aesthetic, Jordan Brand offers up the Air Jordan 4 with a mix of brown shades on the upper including Twine and Ale Brown, while a Geode Teal provides the perfect touch that hints at the lush green leaves of the forest. Speckling on the midsole makes the concept even more obvious as it’s most commonly seen on Nike’s ACG and outdoor-themed gear. Full disclaimer: these AJ4s aren’t intended for trails.
