Nike’s Classic Air Huarache Surfaces in ‘Light Smoke Grey’ Tones

Nike’s Air Huarache returned in force in 2021, celebrating thirty years of the iconic running silhouette. Along the way, the Swoosh released a number of brand new colorways, and are gearing up to release a ‘Light Smoke Grey’ color scheme this year.

Nike’s thirtieth anniversary celebration for the Air Huarache two years ago brought back a number of the silhouette’s iconic original color schemes, as well as rehashing others in fresh new ways. While the anniversary celebration is technically over, the Swoosh still has some gas left in the tank for new color schemes. This week, we got an early look at a new ‘Light Smoke Grey’ colorway coming sometime this season. The new look features a light grey neoprene base layer, adding a cream white layer for the midfoot sections. Dark grey leather covers the outer layers of the shoe and heel counters, while sail white midsoles complete the look.

Nike’s next new color scheme of the Air Huarache to hit shelves has not yet been announced for release, though they are said to appear sometime later in 2023. The ‘Light Smoke Grey’ pair will be available from both Nike’s website and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $135.
