Top Sneaker Releases this Month (May 2023)

Spring is here and this month’s sneaker release calendar is full of significant drops you’ll enjoy. Here are the top sneaker releases going down this month for May 2023. 

Crazy to say we’re almost to the midpoint of the year but here we are. May is here and sneaker brands are putting out their best releases of the year to give you just what you need for the warmer season, more sneakers. When putting together the list for this month, it was apparent that May 2023 was going to be special, featuring a variety of releases, models, and colorways of some of the best-selling models. So without further ado, let’s get started by taking a look at what Nike has in store for the next month.

NIKE (MAY 2023)

While the Dunk is, of course, the prized possession of the month, Nike has a few other releases in-store for the brand’s coming month. With the Nike Kobe 4 Mambacita highlighting the month, other releases also include the Air Max 1 Sandrift, Air Max 1 Coral Stardust, Zoom Generation Dark Grey, Air Ship Every Game, the Ja 1 Trivia, and lastly the FAMU X APB x Nike LeBron 20. Now to get into the Dunk, Nike SB will be adding three new offerings to their growing collection with the Ochre and Grey renditions releasing and the month being highlighted by the Jarritos Dunk Low. For standard Dunk releases, the Dunk Low will be featured in the fan-favorite Pink Foam design while also seeing the Gorge Green, Black Canvas, UNLV Satin, and Dunk Mid Panda along with the Coconut Milk offerings all making an appearance for May.

ADIDAS (MAY 2023)

It’s been a while since we saw adidas in a monthly rundown since the departure of Kanye, but for this month the brand will be keeping it simple and sweet with a return of the Youth of Paris collaboration along with drops brought to you by Pharrell dropping a colors pack of the Humanrace Samba and Sean Wotherspoon which is prepared to release his adidas Gazelle offering.

AIR JORDAN (MAY 2023)

Jordan Brand will also play their part in the next month which is of course one of the biggest roles. As we normally do it, the list will go in chronological order starting with everyone’s favorite, the Air Jordan 1. Featuring three new High releases, the sneaker will opt for taking on the signature Air Jordan Elephant print, and also drop in the Vibrations of Naija design. Lastly, it will also feature the Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse offering which will release ahead of the movie’s debut in June. For the Low version of the silhouette, the sneaker will feature the anticipated Coconut design which will look great going into the summer. Moving onto the Air Jordan 2 which will be released in the Cement Grey design and the Air Jordan 3 which will be featured in the Lucky Green makeover, that will then be followed by the Air Jordan 4 Thunder, which of course is one of the biggest releases of the month. Jordan Brand will then jump ahead with the Jordan 14 Laney release finishing off the month.

OTHER NOTABLE MAY 2023 RELEASES

Aime Leon Dore and New Balance will be giving their fans another opportunity at the 1906R collaboration with a restock scheduled for May 4th while the brand will also be set to release two new versions of the beloved 550 model. Jumping brands ASICS will also have a special month, highlighted by a collaboration with Ronnie Fiegs’ Kith.
