Colombian artist J Balvin has brought his signature flow to Jordan Brand throughout the decade, ushering in collaborations on both the Air Jordan 1 and 2. Earlier this year, he went on to reveal that he's continuing the numerical sequence by taking on the Air Jordan 3 with a “Medellín Sunset” colorway that he provided Hypebeast an exclusive look at in June. Now, while that pair is gearing up for its launch in September, reputable sneaker leakers @zsneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles have revealed that a second colorway of the AJ3 is being prepared by the duo.Nicknamed and designed as an homage to Balvin's firstborn son Rio, the "Rio" colorway's specifics have not yet been confirmed. However, the color arrangement of "Black/Solar Flare/Total Crimson Abyss" has been shared, indicating that Balvin will be continuing his streak of Air Jordans with exciting splashes of color.While release for the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 "Medellín Sunset" is set for this September, the "Rio" colorway is expected to touch down on shelves during the summertime of 2024.
