Nike has been all over the slip-on sneaker trend for the last few years, reviving some of their retro styles alongside crafting brand new ones. This week, we got our first look at the Calm Mule, coming this holiday season.

Last month, Nike debuted their brand new Calm Slide, adding to their long list of recent slip-on style releases. The silhouette features a single-piece foam construction, which they have carried over to another fresh style, the Calm Mule, that is anticipated to release sometime later this year. Following the design of its predecessor, the Mule version is cast in smooth uniform texture, with a small Swoosh indent on the outer sides of the midfoot. The medial sides feature a cutout, likely to help your feet breathe inside the shoes. Bearing a slight resemblance to Salehe Bembury’s Crocs Pollex clog, the new Calm style adds a rubber and webbing heel strap, feature velcro adjustability on either side.

NIKE CALM MULE RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s upcoming new Calm Mule silhouette has not been announced for release, though they are currently expected to release sometime during the Holiday 2023 season. Debuting in olive, grey, hemp, and black, the chunky slip-on model will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers, with an expected price tag of approximately $75, based on the price of the Calm Slide.
