Nike’s Air Humara Welcomes November In “Pale Yellow”

Born in 1996, the Nike Air Humara has emerged in a handful of new styles over the last 10 months. As November fast approaches, the trail-ready silhouette has taken on a pale yellow makeup.

The model’s original color scheme from 27 years ago favored a grey and navy arrangement that falls in line with hiking footwear’s traditionally-muted aesthetic. The newly-surfaced pair, however, delivers a much more eye-catching ensemble, which is sure to find its footing both on the street and roads-less-traveled-by. Textile and fabric construction across the upper harkens back to the later 90s, but suede panels replace the Nike Humara’s debut leather build. Function-first components at the profiles and around the collar reprise their traditional roles, as does the textile-wrapped midsole underfoot (a similar lightweight and flexible cushioning solution is found on the Air Force 1 Wild). Lastly, the traction ensures the design’s latest take delivers reliable performance decades later, although it’s more likely the offering is used for fashion purposes than to traverse backroads.

Enjoy retailer photography of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch in the first half of 2024. The Air Humara is priced at $160 USD.

In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 4 “Olive” is set to release on November 10th.
