Nike is digging deeper into the Air Force 1’s past for Holiday 2026. Our ongoing previews of the Air Force 1 Low featuring the 2001-era shape continue with a new “College Navy/Light Smoke Grey” colorway, further signaling that Nike has bigger plans for the throwback construction as the year comes to a close.

This latest edition keeps things refreshingly simple as if they were truly out of the 2001 catalog. College Navy leather covers the upper, extending onto the interior lining and outsole for a nearly tonal appearance. Light Smoke Grey provides the contrast across the Swoosh, tongue, heel tab, and midsole, giving the familiar two-tone combination an appropriately old-school feel.

Of course, the real attraction is the shape itself. Nike’s return to the proportions of the early-2000s Air Force 1 gives longtime fans a construction more closely aligned with pairs from one of the silhouette’s most celebrated periods, and with more inline colorways continuing to emerge, this clearly isn’t shaping up to be a one-off experiment.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “College Navy/Light Smoke Grey” is expected to release during Holiday 2026 for $130.
