The Nike Kobe 10 Low Protro “5 AM Flight” will be released during the Holiday 2026 season. An original colorway of the Kobe 10, this pair was originally released in 2015. This marks the second Kobe 10 to return in 2026.

Nike Basketball will re-release the Kobe 10 in 2026, and so far, two colorways are returning. The first will be the “Halo” Kobe 10 that will return in August. However, the first original colorway that I have announced will be the “5 AM Flight” Kobe 10 Low Protro.
The “5 AM Flight” colorway was the first to launch of the Kobe 10. The shoes referenced Kobe Bryant’s morning 40-foot leaps from a diving board in August 2013. This was after recovering from surgery on his Achilles tendon.
For the 2026 reissue, this Nike Kobe 10 stays true to its roots. Expect the same Blue Lagoon Engineered Mesh upper, with subtle contrast detailing around the tongue, heel, and midsole. This colorway never relied on loud graphics, so its strength lies in its clean, wearable design. Additionally, we have Black across the Swoosh logo, Kobe’s signature in Red on the tongue, and his shield logo on the tongue. Other details include a water-like graphic on the inside of the tongue and a translucent rubber outsole.

I remember when this pair was originally released. Sadly, I did miss out, but it was my own doing. I always liked the pair, but sometimes you just need to miss out on certain sneakers. As for the 2026 release, this will be added to my collection. The shade of Blue is what does it for me.
