The SoleFly x Air Jordan 5 will be released on October 1, 2026, via SoleFly, with a wider launch at NBHD retailers on October 8, 2026. The shoes feature an Anthracite and Aurora Green colorway. However, the standout element is how the laces wrap the heels.

SoleFly and Jordan Brand will return during the Holiday 2026 season with a new collaboration. What has become a yearly tradition, the boutique will debut a unique iteration of the Air Jordan 5. This will be the first time SoleFly debuts the Air Jordan 5.
Over the last several years, SoleFly has launched some solid collaborations. In 2025, we saw the “Fruits of Our Labor” Air Jordan 3 debut. In 2024, the boutique dropped the “Cafecito” Air Jordan 12, and in 2023, the “Mi Casa Es Su Casa” Air Jordan 8 launched.
What’s shown is a mock-up. However, it resembles the early viewing that I saw. As you can see, this Air Jordan 5 features Off Noir throughout the upper with suede detailing. Additionally, we have “SF” on the lateral side that replaces the number “23.” Red lands on the flames on the midsole and appears on the inside of the tongue. Intact will be the Nike Air branding on the heels and a Green Jumpman on the tongue.
The unique element is the lacing system. At the top, you can wrap the laces around the heels and tie them in the front, as shown. This is a different look and is the first time it’s been used on the Air Jordan 5. It also comes with a SoleFly hangtag. Other details include a mostly Black midsole and a milky translucent rubber outsole.

Bottom Line
I have always been a fan of SoleFly collaborations. However, for the Air Jordan 5, I can comfortably pass it on. The Holiday season is stacked, and while the Jordan 5 isn’t bad, it just doesn’t match up to what I will be going after. I am sure others will enjoy the shoes, but it’s a pass for me.
