The Nike KD 17 “Aunt Pearl” is the latest silhouette in the “Aunt Pearl” series, which will be released during the Holiday 2024 season. The shoes pay tribute to Kevin Durant’s late Aunt and are covered in shades of Pink. The retail price is $160.

Each year, Nike Basketball and Kevin Durant team up to release an “Aunt Pearl” shoe. The series started in 2012; in 2024, it marks the twelfth year we will see a release. What makes this year special is that the theme will be applied to his latest signature shoe, the KD 17, and we will see the return of the original pair, the “Aunt Pearl” KD 4. Aunt Pearl played a big role in Kevin Durant’s life, and at the age of 11, KD lost his Aunt, who lost her battle with lung cancer.

This Nike KD 17 comes dressed in a Pink Foam and Beyond Pink color scheme. Shown is a mock-up of the shoes. However, it’s an accurate Photoshop of what’s being released. It is highlighted with Pink across the upper, which covers the base and TPU overlays. We have a Purple-like shade that fills in the Swoosh logos, perforations on the tongue and by the heel, and “KD” and Swoosh logos repeated just above the midsole. You can also expect KD branding and a special tribute to Aunt Pearl. Lastly, a Pink midsole and rubber outsole finish the design.
