Nike Basketball Introduces Rookie Class of 2023

The 2023-24 NBA season is right around the corner, and Nike Basketball is proud to unveil their talented rookie lineup. At the forefront of this stellar class is Victor Wembanyama, the first overall pick, who inked a multi-year deal with Nike while showcasing his skills in France. Alongside him, we have an impressive group of top selections: Anthony Black, Kobe Brown, Bilal Coulibaly, Keyonte George, Jordan Hawkins, Dereck Lively II, Olivier-Maxence Prosper, Brandon Miller, Amen Thompson, Ausar Thompson, Julian Strawther, and Cason Wallace.

Back in France, Wembanyama made waves in customized size 20.5 Nikes, particularly the Zoom G.T. Run. It’s worth noting that despite his absence from the class photo, he remains a devoted Nike athlete. As reported by Nick DePaula of Boardroom, Wembanyama’s absence is attributed to his unavailability for the September photoshoot.

Nike’s strategy for the 2023 draft class closely mirrors last year’s, where the brand brought 14 talented prospects on board just ahead of the ’22-23 season.
